The Osnabrück Independent Film Festival (ffos) in Germany has been set to screen Iranian feature ‘Until Tomorrow’.

Directed by Ali Asgari, the Iranian-French-Qatari movie will hit the screen at the FILMFEST FRIDEN program of the 37th edition of the German event.

“Student Fereshteh has to hide her illegitimate baby for one night from her parents who turn up for a surprise visit. Her friend Atefeh helps her. They embark on an odyssey through Tehran during which they must carefully weigh up who their allies are,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The cast list includes Sadaf Asgari, Ghazal Shojaee, Babak Karimi, Amir-Reza Ranjbaran, Nahal Dashti, and Mohammad Heidari.

Produced by filmmaker/actress Niki Karimi, ‘Until Tomorrow’ marked its world premiere at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in Germany.

Ever since, it has been screened at various global events, including the International Istanbul Film Festival in Turkey and the Edinburgh International Film Festival in Scotland.

The ffos is one of the eldest and most traditional film festivals in Germany. Every year it takes place on five days in October in Osnabrück.

This year’s edition of the fest is set for October 12-16.
